is a poet, teacher, and musician. His poems have appeared in literary magazines on both sides of the Atlantic. His 2014 poetry collection To See the Sound is a new formalist collection praised by both poets and scholars.
For twenty years he taught literature and creative writing in the English department at Malmö University, both on-campus and online, and is the founder-editor of the Shipwrights Review.
Darius is also a songwriter, singer, guitarist, and sometime sitarist (also satirist). He’s released six albums and opened shows for major acts on many stages.
He lives in Southern California, practices Zen meditation, surfs, and writes as often as possible.
