# Slasher *Source: Player's Handbook (2024) p. 208* **Prerequisite**: 4th You gain the following benefits. **Ability Score Increase.** Increase your Strength or Dexterity by 1, to a maximum of 20. **Hamstring.** Once per turn when you hit a creature with an attack that deals Slashing damage, you can reduce the [Speed](/Rules/Source/variant-rules/speed-xphb.md) of that creature by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. **Enhanced Critical.** When you score a [Critical Hit](/Rules/Source/variant-rules/critical-hit-xphb.md) that deals Slashing damage to a creature, it has [Disadvantage](/Rules/Source/variant-rules/disadvantage-xphb.md) on attack rolls until the start of your next turn.
